Logan Kube

In 2011, Canadian-born financial advisor Logan Kube was a newcomer in Western Australia, working mainly for mining clients, but quickly coming to realise that his passion lay in the “much greener pastures” of renewables and e-mobility.

That same year, Logan met Dennis Savic as teammates on the Perth Blitz American football – or gridiron – team based at Karawara. The pair cemented a friendship that was guaranteed to endure after the Blitz went on to win the 2011-12 Western Australia State Championship.

“I’ve been following Savic for a number of years, and after returning to Australia in 2022 I read a case study about the company in the Commonwealth Government’s National Electric Vehicle Strategy, and was compelled to reach out and reconnect with Dennis,” says Logan. “After we got talking, we both realised that our partnership had much further to run than the football field!”

Logan has advised on major investments in British and Australian EV charging businesses, and helped the UK Office of Zero Emission Vehicles design and structure its £950 million Rapid Charging Fund. Since returning to Perth, he has also managed a US$400 million energy transition investment portfolio for a major resources company – before Savic came calling on his services.

As Chief Investment Officer at Savic Motorcycles, Logan will be responsible for managing the company’s capital-raising and investment opportunities, as well as dealing with private and institutional investors, banks, and lawyers along the way. They are roles his career has rigorously prepared him for – particularly during the six years he worked at Deloitte in London as a Director leading the Energy M&A Advisory team, raising equity for numerous renewable energy projects and e-mobility initiatives, and gaining a reputation within Deloitte as a global e-mobility subject matter expert.

“It’s funny how fate steps in,” says Logan. “But this time the stars have really aligned – giving me a job that combines my passion for energy transition and e-mobility, my corporate finance and M&A experience, and my love of motorcycles.”Logan as a child on his fathers bike.
