Below you’ll find genuine, rider‑submitted testimonials from recent Savic Motorcycles demonstrations and test rides - real‑world proof of how our electric motorbikes perform on the road.

Boris Michailovic | Motorcycling journalist: "a work of art"
“The C-Series absolutely shattered my expectations. This is how you get an electric bike right. It’s impossible not to be amazed at this beautifully balanced, enjoyable, and stunning work of art.”
Mike [Customer #22] | "It was such a great experience, and so easy to ride."
There’s only one thing about the C-Series Mike Wrenn doesn’t like – the opinions of armchair critics. “When I got back from my test ride, a comment popped up on Facebook saying the seating position looked really uncomfortable,” says Mike. “That made me mad because I’d just ridden it and it was super-comfortable!” So Mike got into warrior mode himself, and cut the naysayer down to size: “I’m six foot two, and it was an amazing experience!”
As an air traffic controller, Mike’s not one to get flustered. But we’re honoured to have him fighting our corner. The 59-year-old Englishman has been a rider for four decades, with two BMW tourers and a Honda Africa Twin in his garage, and he can’t wait to get his C-Series. He’s going “the whole hog”, with carbon-fibre bodywork and our new Heritage headlight.
Mike was one of the first to ride our test bikes, and he was full of beans at the experience. “It was such a great experience, and so easy to ride. And when I hit the acceleration, it was absolutely awesome. To anyone who has any doubts: please don’t criticise this bike until you’ve had a ride. I guarantee you’ll be blown away!”

Phil [Customer #5] | "This bike feels like a revolution"
When Phil Williamson rode one of our C-Series test bikes out of Stanley Street earlier this year, it represented the end of a long road – and an unswerving faith in the future of electric motorcycles. “This bike feels like a revolution,” says Phil, “and I’m so proud to have been a little part of it!”
Phil and his wife became early investors in Savic Motorcycles in 2018, when the C-Series was little more than a steel frame and a collection of good intentions. The couple were looking for worthy startups to support. “Our only criteria was to leave the world a better place, and Savic certainly fits that bill,” says Phil.
So what did he think of the bike he’s invested his funds and faith in? “It’s just so easy to ride. You don’t have to think about anything. There’s no clutch or gears – if you’re not a very technical rider, it makes life very easy. And of course, it will keep getting better and better as its technology improves.”
Michael (Customer #220): "One corner and I was hooked"
Once in a while a customer comes along whose passion for the C-Series and our company ethos is so great, it melts our hearts.
We were delighted when the Melburnian pitched up for one of our early test rides. “It took me one corner and one straight and I was hooked,” says Michael. “The throttle is instant and perfect, the cornering amazing. I thought it would be a bit top-heavy, but it’s perfectly balanced – and so quick! And it stops on a dime: the brakes are super-responsive. Doing city riding without having to change gears is going to be a dream!”
Peter (customer #50) | "Pretty impressive"
Peter has been riding motorcycles since he was 10, exactly half a century ago. But although he’s traversed tens of thousands of kilometres on two wheels – “from bush trails to country roads to motorways” – he’s yet to set a wheel on a racetrack. When he gets his C-Series, he’s determined to change that.
“Taking the C-Series to a track would be a dream come true,” says Peter. “It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and this bike inspires so much confidence, I’d love to test it to that level.”
When Peter “snuck in” a ride at Everything Electric, he became the first C-Series customer to have a second test ride. So how did the second ride compare? Even better than the first, says Peter, citing the “exceptional handling” and “beautiful riding position”.
“It’s similar to the riding position of my Bonneville,” says Peter, who’d ridden his 865cc Triumph down to Sydney. “Initially the ‘tank cover’ makes it look really big, but as soon as you start moving, your knees and hands are in the right position, and it doesn’t feel big anymore. At slow speeds, it actually feels light and intuitive – a bit like a sports bike.
“The fact that Dennis’s team have gone through different suspensions, chassis and powertrain components: that tells me they’re trying to optimise the performance. And they’ve managed to steadily improve it without really changing the price-point – that’s pretty impressive!”
Zoran (customer #27) | "Comes together as it should"
Among all Savic Motorcycles’ investors and early supporters, Zoran Bravo arguably has the longest EV heritage. Back in 2008, when no one was thinking electric, he was zipping around on one of Melbourne’s first off-road bikes; then he was an early adopter of one of the country’s first electric cars, which he drives to this day.
A “perpetual tinkerer”, Zoran enjoys keeping abreast of fast-evolving EV technologies, while also working within the industry as it has evolved from niche to mainstream. In 2019 he was one of the first people to put his name down for a C-Series, since when he’s been a regular visitor to our workshop – where he’s shared his knowledge of EV charging whenever the opportunity arose!
When it came time for Zoran’s test ride, he led our marketing manager Sam on a revealing ride through the “rat-runs” of his youth across Port Melbourne. “I wanted to shake things up a little, so I developed a course with lots of turns, S-bends, and quick braking, so I could get a feel for bike’s dynamics,” he explains. “While twisting the grip is easy and that instant torque is expected, I was more keen to check out the handling through these technical manoeuvres, braking, the tyre choice
and radius, and even the thermal management.
“Of course, there’s some room for improvement – there always is! But the bike is fantastic. It’s very quick to get the feel of, and everything comes together as it should, which is a direct result of efforts by the team and their extensive testing.”
Zoran says he has only one challenge remaining for the C-Series: “Should I park it in the lounge where I can admire it, or leave it in the garage where it’ll be ready to go at a moment’s notice?”
