The Beginning
2015 was the year the founder got started with building motorcycles only weeks after completing his Bachelor's Degree.
First Ground Up Build
In 2016 the founder sold his car to buy motorcycle parts, and hand built a frame and powertrain for the first ever concept build.
A New Direction
In Early 2017, Dennis partnered with the company's now lead designer, Dave Hendroff, to re-invent the company's strategic design direction.
Our First MVP Launch
First launched as "Savic Motorcycles" in Melbourne Australia.
First Powertrain
Through 2019 the team developed and built its very first proprietary powertrain.
Seed Round
In 2020 through the start of COVID, our team closed it's first major investment round of A$400,000 which enabled a few of the team to go full time.
Re-Design
After going full time, the team went back to the drawing board to implement all the design improvements that were identified the prior year.
Setting up the infrastructure
The team underwent growth, and another round of product re-design. Simultaneously, the team established its initial supply chain infrastructure to support growth.
Design Freeze
2022 saw the team build two vehicles. One for ABS development with Bosch Australia, and the other for media test rides. These were the last "machined" prototypes before production tooling was kicked off!
Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
The PPAP process is common in the automotive industry and is required to approve the parts that are manufactured off production tools.
Trialling Production with the First customer Delivery
Once PPAP was completed, the team trialed it's first customer builds and delivered it's first customer bikes in November
Scaling Commences
Through 2025 the team commenced production in Melbourne Australia, and set up the company's China based production facility.
