VIC

We are a licenced motor vehicle dealer in VIC, so we can register your C-Series for you from our Melbourne Showroom.

This happens when you come to collect your vehicle during your Handover Appointment.

You'll need to bring your Driver's Licence.

The Savic team will fully brief you prior to your handover so you know what to bring.

If you have a personalised plate, we are also able to help register that.

QLD

Documents needed:

  • Proof of Ownership [Savic will provide you with your final invoice]
  • Photo of your C-Series Odometer reading [Savic will provide this to you]
  • QLD Drivers Licence
  • FYI: Compliance Type - Vehicle is entered on the Register of Approved Vehicles (RAV) [Savic enters your vehicle to RAV using your VIN].

Process:

You can register your bike before it arrives, so you're ready to head out riding as soon as it's delivered to you.

  • Visit Transport for QLD with all the required documents (No need to bring bike)
  • Stamp Duty + Registration for Bike
ACT

Documents needed:

Process:

Visit Access Canberra with all required documents

  1. Pay establish registration fee, registration fees, stamp duty (and apply any concessions you may have). 

If you have any questions, Access Canberra recommend you speak with them directly on 13 22 81.

SA

Documents:

Process:

  • Take all documentation to a Service SA centre.
  • Pay your Registration, stamp duty and number plate fees.
WA

Documents:

Process:

  • Vehicle Examination by WA Department of Transport (DoT). Savic will have your bike delivered directly to the inspection centre.
  • After the inspection, we will have the bike delivered to our Perth showroom in Applecross.

Once your bike passes inspection, you’ll need to:

  • Pay stamp duty (calculated on the value of the bike)Pay registration fees
  • Arrange Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance (mandatory with all registrations in WA)
  • Provide proof of purchase, proof of ID, and the inspection certificate at a WA DoT licensing centre.

You’ll be issued new plates.

Bring your new plates to our Savic showroom, and we'll put your plates on your bike - and you can head off on your new C-Series.

NSW

Documents:

  • Delivery docket with VIN No
  • PDI checklist or report (shows bike was checked before shipping)
  • Tax Invoice to show proof of acquisition with vin no, engine no, date, price
  • Letter of First Ownership (on SAVIC letterhead) Confirms the bike is brand-new, never previously registered in any jurisdiction.
  • RAV Evidence Print-out of the C-Series RAV entry VIN specific.

Process:

  • Get an Unregistered Vehicle Permit to allow you to ride your bike to an inspection centre to get a Blue Slip.
  • Find an Authorised Unregistered Vehicle Inspection Station using this site to get your Blue Slip.
  • Get CTP insurance (green slip)
  • Complete PDF form "Application for Registration" from this site, and take it along with proof of ID and relevant paperwork to ServiceNSW centre and pay the fees.
TAS

Documents:

Process:

  • Take your bike to an Approved Inspection Site from the list found here
  • Take all documentation required to your nearest Service Tasmania service centre
  • Pay all fees required
